KGS portrays two different branches of the German armed forces as our primary impressions.

901st PANZER GRENADIER LEHR REGIMENT

This is the Armoured Infantry of the Heer or German Army. Usually found travelling into battle in SDKFZ 251 Halftracks and comprising of Rifle platoons, MG 42 team and a 81mm Mortar team. Most new recruits to this portrayal will enter as part of the Rifle platoon, however there is always scope for advancement and by attending the training days and shows there is always scope to move into the heavier weapons teams or as a specific trade for example Radio Operator, pioneer etc. As the group expands so will our equipment so again we hope to add further scope

FALLSCHIRMJAGER.

The Fallschirmjager or paratrooper units we portray are those of a later war period. Unlike the Panzer Grenadiers we do not attach ourselves to a specific regiment. Most of the scenarios involve our Fallschirmjager acting as part of a Kampfgruppe (battlegroup) and offering support to the Grenadiers in the form of Anti tank teams. For this most of our paratroops are armed with K-98 rifles, Mp-40s a Panzerschreck and will use a PaK 38, 50mm towed anti-tank gun. Again new recruits join the Fallschirmjager in a rifleman / shock troop role and with training move onto heavier weapons.
